DAY 1
Observation
Most of us have an idea of what self improvement is. It is about the self - an individual person and improvement. Improvement means something different to me than it means to you. However our aims often are similar. Most of us want to have good relationships with people, feel good in our own skin, enjoy our life, feel motivated, appreciated and to simply feel alive in a happy way.
Easier said than done. Before we get to the practical stuff I would like to clarify a few things.
1. Why Precision?
Because nothing works without an effort. How many times have you tried something new, that was so exciting at the beginning but then you got bored with it and never finished it off? Yes many times...If you want to learn to drive a car you need to practise. If you want to be a good driver you need to practise more and practise regularly.
Precision means motivation, regularity, effort, curiosity and a good result in the end. However it does not mean perfection! In fact I do not like the word 'perfection' simply because I do not believe that life is perfect. If life is not perfect then perfection does not exist. Anyone who aims for perfection knows that it is nearly impossible to get 100% all the time, and if this is the case if we get 99.9% even once that means it is not perfect, so forget perfection. Here I would like to concentrate on the real and achievable aims.
2. Motivation
There are a few questions that you need to answer before continuing:
How motivated are you to improve this area of your life that you are not happy about?
Are you willing to become on observer and your own psychologist?
Are you willing to devote 10 minutes 5 days a week for the first week?
Are you willing to devote 5 minutes for preparation and 1 minute to practise 5 days a week in the second week?
Are you willing to change your negative thoughts and worries and be more positive?
If you have the right level of motivation and answered 'yes' to all of the above lets start!
3. Observation
Most of the time we think that we know pretty well what our problem is, but we just do not know how to sort it out. The truth is if we really knew what the issue was we would be able to manage it.
The difficulties start with the unknown.
Unknown means:
- our emotional reaction
- physical symptoms
- the way it effects our mood
- the way it effects our behaviour
- the way it effects our thoughts
- the way it effects our relationship
- the way it effects our work, family life and social life
- when it started
- how much time do we spend thinking about it
- the root of the issue, our past
and many more...
It is not that easy, but by taking it step by step we can work it out.
In order to manage the issue we need to get to know it. And we can do it through observation.
Task 1 Diary:
A) Emotions
Observe the way your issue, negative thought, worry, feeling, whatever it is that makes you feel uncomfortable and confused effects your emotions. From now on observe your mood.
a) start a diary (online or on paper)
b) decide what is the best time for you to write down your observations?

c) do not spend on this task more then 10 minutes a day
d) keep the records everyday 5 days a week
